November 21, 2006. Nobel Prize winner in economics of the year 2001 and former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors, Prof. Joseph E. Stiglitz, addressed a capacity crowd of 4nearly 500 people representing the business and academic communities from the greater Hamburg area. To his spellbound audience, he offered a wealth of information on the challenges of globalization and how to manage it better. Partners of the event were the Amerikazentrum, Siedler publishing house, the American Chamber of Commerce, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the Hamburg Economic Research Institute HWWI, and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
