November 8, 2004. Writer Sara Paretsky, creator of the Chicago-based, popular V.I. Warshawski private-eye series, introduced her new novel Blacklist to an audience of 80 enthusiastic fans of crime fiction. Among the guests were teachers of English and American Studies, as well as representatives and supporters of the Hamburg-Chicago Sister Cities Program. Dr. Susan Winnett of the Universität Hamburg presented Ms. Paretsky. The Hamburg Public Affairs Office and Goldmann Verlag co-sponsored the event.
