Election Program for High School Students

| Consul Libonati with two school classes from Buxtehude |
January 23, 2008. Political Economical Officer Genevieve Libonati and Cultural Affairs Assistant Martina Schulze teamed up to welcome two school classes from the city of Buxtehude, Lower Saxony, at the Hamburg consulate. The 10th and 11th graders and their teachers had requested to learn about the U.S. election process and exchange programs. While Genevieve Libonati presented the International Information Program (IIP) PowerPoint presentation on the 2008 Presidential election and answered many questions about U.S. domestic and foreign policy, Martina Schulze provided an overview of study and work abroad programs in the U.S. for young Germans.
